Team Fremont
The Fremont Police Department running team finished first in their division in 2005 and they're hoping to as well in 2006.
Each of the teams being supported by the Fremont-area hams will be recruiting their own volunteers for their team-specific positions. Due to the number of volunteers needed, we are asking for volunteers to let us know for what position they are volunteering, if they only want to do a single job, or if they are flexible. If we get too many Follow Van volunteers, and not enough Shuttle Vans volunteers, we will need to ask some of the volunteers to take a different position.
If you want to volunteer to support Team Fremont, please go to the Volunteers page and let us know how you would like to help. If you have specific questions, you can leave your questions in the "Comments" part of the volunteer form.
Make sure to make your room plans early, as there are ALWAYS other events during the week before and after B2V which tie up all of the local hotel rooms! Try to share a room with other team members if possible, since this lowers the cost of the trip for everyone who shares. (If you want to share a room, or are willing to share your room with someone else, you can note this on the volunteer form as well.)
We have reservations for a block of rooms at Circus-Circus again this year. Call the hotel at 1-800-444-CIRCUS. (If you want to use the group reservation, please or request the information when you fill out the the volunteer form, or send email to staffing at baker2vegas.org.)

The following are current estimates based on previous races, so they are probably pretty stable. But, these positions may still change if we get new information from the running team leaders. (This is one reason that we always waited to assign jobs until 'the last minute' in the past.)
