The Las Vegas Raiders still have some work to do with their 2021 roster, and here are five retired players they should aim to bring in.

The 2021 NFL Offseason Cups have had some interesting moves this season, as many surprises arose when the 53-player rosters were announced yesterday. With former MVP Cam Newton highlighting the squad, some big name players have been shown the door, and the Las Vegas Raiders have made some surprise cuts as well.

The Raiders surprised a lot of people by releasing safety Karl Joseph among a host of other surprises, including John Brown, who was brought in to be a veteran in the wide receivers room. Now the Raiders have decisions to make when it comes to what the roster will look like for Week 1, and they have a big crop of recently unemployed players to do it with.

Some notable names might have an intrigue on the waiver thread, and we’ll take a look at some of the best available.

Las Vegas Raiders: 5 players to target on waivers

Travis Fulgham, wide receiver

The move came as a surprise to many, as the 25-year-old wide receiver was the Philadelphia Eagles main receiver a season ago. For a Raiders team that only carries five receivers on the roster, it would make sense for them to at least take a look at Fulgham.

After being claimed on waivers by the Eagles last season, the strong receiver should receive some attention early on and not be in the market for long.
