LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas has always been a city known for entertainment, but few big names are getting the kind of treatment BTS received Thursday night with the entire Strip turning purple in their honor, with the Bellagio displaying custom shows at their fountain, and the super fans, BTS ARMY, who flock around every block.
“Overturn the city for them,” Nhu Than said. “It’s very exciting and very new for k-pop fans in particular.”

Shelly Moua and Nhu Than came from California to see the thousands of bands rushing to get tickets as tickets sold out almost instantly.
“Tickets sold out very quickly,” Moua said, “but luckily we were able to get some last-minute tickets because they released some more.”
Las Vegas locals like Allie Roseborough also joined in the BTS celebration.
“I feel very, very lucky to have them here in my city because I usually have to travel to see them,” Roseborough said.
Roseborough had one thing in common with the throngs of fans that thronged the Strip, and that was the amount of money she spent preparing for the concert series at Allegiant Stadium.
“Too much money,” she said. “Too much money. I worked significant overtime to be able to do this.”
