Sam smith For the wedding. Luke Bryan for the party. Malone substation for the after.
It was the superstar triumvirate for the Victoria “Tori” Fertitta –Daniel Crowe Saturday wedding ceremony at the Red Rock Resort Convention Center.
The star headliners triumvirate suits one of Las Vegas’ royal families. Fertitta is the youngest daughter of the CEO of Station Casinos Franck Fertitta III. She is also an executive at Station Casinos and is named after the family matriarch and the niece of the Vice President of Station Casinos. Lorenzo Fertitta, brother of Franck III.
Crowe owns the luxury doggy day care business Tails Pet Resorts in Las Vegas.
On Monday, the Fertittas declined to comment on details of the event through a spokesperson for Station Casinos. The family also declined to comment on Friday.
Bryan’s performance was a taste of his next production-in-residence in February at the Theater at Resorts World Las Vegas.
Smith recently performed in Vegas at the 2016 Life is Beautiful Festival. He also performed at the Brooklyn Bowl in 2014.
Smith was a latecomer to the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival for what was later described as a “vocal emergency.” Post Malone’s March 2020 date at the MGM Grand Garden Arena has been canceled due to the pandemic.
Saturday’s wedding was a highly secure event, to put it mildly. An observer said the scene was akin to a White House security patrol.
Famous event planner Mindy Weiss of Beverly Hills, which hosts all of the important family celebrations (as well as Kelley Fertitta and Tyler Nemiro’s 2018 wedding, also at Red Rock), led preparations for Saturday’s event.
White roses were especially plentiful at the hotel, although it took three weeks to provide the flowers needed for the lavish displays. This work has been carried out as the city suffers from a nationwide flower shortage created by multiple supply chain and environmental issues forced by COVID.
Although the wedding was shrouded in secrecy, there was a warning in the week leading up to the event. One of Red Rock’s Wi-Fi networks was listed as “Fertitta and Crowe Wedding”. It was open too. You could jump right in.

Ange-Dragone on the hunt
An “immediate” casting call is underway for the project originally titled “Mr. Smiles & Molly”, the Criss angel and Franco Dragone production. The atmospheric spectacle must be paired with Angel’s magical production “Mindfreak” at Planet Hollywood. The Vegas Auditions site lists contortionists and bonebreakers, circus quirks, alluring female performers, with unique skills (handling fire, for example), dancers, physical actresses, and character artists. Details are on the @dragoneofficial and @VegasAudition IG pages.
Magic at Mike
“Magic Mike Live” officially opened its doors in its fabulous new theater in the Sahara. A deeper dive is in sight on this production. But we can say that the companion series, “The Real Magic Mike,” starts airing on HBO Max on December 16th. The six-part series is about the search for the “real” Magic Mike in a group of guys looking for a new lease. about life. Or, maybe, a new leash. No matter. The show was shot for eight weeks in the Sahara.

The Las Vegas Raiders-Miami Dolphins game at Allegiant Stadium (where we spoke to Steve wynn for the first time in four years) was just the start of a VegasVille Sunday adventure.
Michelle johnson was glorious – glorious, I tell you! – on his return to Myron at the Smith Center. His home! A return to Broadway show ‘featured Vegas favorites such as Jimmy Lockett, Brent Barrett, Robin Vincent, Anne Martinez, Lisa Marie Smith and Lannie counts. Johnson sang the first song she had ever performed in public, “I Don’t Know How To Love It” from “Jesus Christ Superstar” in her 10-year-old voice. Great stuff.
Then we flew to Wynn Las Vegas to catch Skye Dee Miles debut at Dalila. She tore up “Minnie The Moocher” to open the set, adding spice to the club’s Sunday jazz night as always. We hung up a bit late, but then. The Raiders won in overtime, and so did we.
MGM Resorts takes possession of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, an agreement announced Monday. I met the founder of Spiegelworld Ross Mollison, whose company produces “Opium” at Cosmo.
So, I was looking for Mollison’s reaction to having a show under the MGM Resorts umbrella. Commenting on “The Impressario,” Mollison refers to MGM Resorts President and CEO Bill Hornbuckle: “I’m really impressed with how far Bill Hornbuckle will go to get a Spiegelworld show.”
